Are there plans to develop a central management console for Windows Defender
similar to SUS/WSUS? For corporate deployments, a console tied to Active
Directory that controls signature update deployments and displays user update
levels would be an extremely valuable tool.

Look into Microsoft's subscription product--Microsoft Client Protection:
