I have created a webpage for some sheep breeders. The problem I am having is
that the centering is different on every computer and it does not look very
good. The computer I designed the website on has a 17" monitor and if I just
tell it to center, it is off on smaller monitors. Any suggestions?!

How are you telling it to center?

Try using <DIV><Center> in the Body above what you want centered. To turn
it off use both codes with the standard </ codes.

I have found that some manual editing is needed in Front Page. And it does
not always provide the code that is used by other browsers. Internet
Explorer is pretty forgiving. But Safari, or Mozilla are picky. They like
to see the DIV code.

Also search for extra close codes on the areat you want centered. I have
found I need to manually remove extra code in Front Page if I try too many
times to change the position.

Are you viewing your web pages with different browsers? And which version
of Front Page are you using?

FP2003 wasn't designed to be Compliant with todays Standards. It is some 7
years old and so it is time to either move on to the latest tools or be
prepared to use some manual editing.

Also, IE 9 out very soon - Platform preview is here:
http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/ will be picky too because it is very
Standards Compliant and also it won't run on Windows XP! I don't think
websites prepared on FP2003 can run on IE9 unless it is created with strict
html and nothing else. Manually editted websites should be OK provided
Standards have been followed.
