I have just upgraded to FP 2003 From FP 2002 but now when I create a table
and then split it into cells ,I have a problem when I try to type into the
cell . Basically when I type the first letter the cell expands and reduces
the width of all the other cells beside it . I did not have this problem in
FP 2002 . Am I missing something . I know that when you get to the cell
border it should expand the cell but why is it expanding when I type the 1st
letter . Thanks

This will happen when you do not have content in the other cells.

Make sure there is a value in the cell width properties, that adds up to the
total of the table width and make sure it's pixels or % all the way,
depending on what you have chosen.

This is the most brilliant answer I have seen . The problem was with the
cell property width . It does not populate by default but I was putting in
Pixel even thought the table was %. I spent the whole day trying to figure
this out. I saw lots of people with the same problem in newsgroups but
nobody had a solution . Thanks for taking the time to answer this . I was
about to revert back to FP 2002 .
I looked at your site, what did you use for the DHTML Menu ? Thank you
very much I think my BP had risen because of this problem . I mean how can
you create any site without using tables . Thanks Again
