Hi,

I have just changed jobs and am now working on XP instead of office
2000. I used to be able to write a formula such as:

=SUMIF(A2:A10,<D2,B2:B10)

I can't seem to be able to reference a cell for a criterion when the
operator is anything other than "=". Can somebody point me in the
right direction.

The correct syntax is:

=SUMIF(A2:A10,"<"&D2,B2:B10)
