CDWare in Australia -- free or not? :)

Most PC mags here in Australia have full-version software on the front,
notable Paint Shop Pro 5 and Power Producer lately. Now, I know you
don't consider these "freeware" because you have to purchase the mag
to get them, but consider this: Most public libraries in Australia
let you borrow the magazines and their CDs for FREE, and legally, under
Australian law, we're entitled to make use of said borrowed CDs in
any way we wish. So, this effectively makes the software contained
therein "freeware" to anyone in Australia who borrows them.

But I bet you don't go for this, even though it's legal, eh? :P
