Fairly recently ive noticed that both my CD-RW drive and
DVD-ROM drive only detect cd's (and dvd's respectively)
after i reboot my system, and if i replace the cd that
was in the tray after a reboot with another cd, Windows
XP will sometimes open up the contents of the first disk,
rather than the new one.

Originally i believed for it to be Ahead InCD that was
the problem, but found that after unistalling that, i
still had the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas or websites, patches ect that
you could point me to?

Any more info that is required can be given on request.
Any and all help is deeply appreciated.

Yours,
Darren

For future Reference my setup is as follows;
Athlon 2000XP
256 RAM
liteonit 52X32X52 CD-RW Drive
Maxtor 40GB HD
AND i also have an LG 16X DVD-ROM Drive, possibly the
source of the problem?

Darren.

PS cheers for the temporary work around, just hope they
release a patch for it soon.
