Hi All,

I'm frustated with my CDRW behaviour. Sometimes it can't
read a CD (which probably common of compatibility prob),
but after that it automatically disappears from device
manager. I can't even rescan the hardware - no hardware
found. I have to reboot my system to redetect the device.

This is what I found in the event viewer, but can't find
anything useful in MS site.
The device 'IOMEGA CDRW9600INT-A'
(IDE\CdRomIOMEGA_CDRW9600INT-
A____________________3.00____\5&2302fe43&0&0.0.0)
disappeared from the system without first being prepared
for removal.

Anybody encountered this before? Any information is
greatly appreciated. Plsss email me, thanks

Read your Iomega manual. Learn how to properly dismount a mounted CD.
