copy songs from a cd to my computer that was fine, but when i tried to copy
the song onto a blank disk, it wouldnt allow me. i tried 3 different brands
including a rewritable disk to no avail. i was wondering if anyone can help
me out. thanks.

There are also a couple other things that may be blocking this. First,
the songs you have copied to your computer may be preventing you from
burning them to CD because of copy protection built into the files (this
depends on what program you have used to copy the files). Second, it
could be your CD Writer. What is the make and model of the CD Writer?
Does Windows even recognize it as a CD-RW? Can you write normal data
CD's or CD's with other data on it?

Finally, I suggest trying Nero from www.nero.com as a test program
