CDRW: Access to Administrators denied

Hello.. I'm running WinXP Pro, standalone computer, using
a TDK CDRW. If I log into the Administrator account, I
can create a briefcase on the formatted CD, make a
folder, write to the CD, etc.

But, any Administrators or users cannot. I've set the
permission on the CDRW to allow all to everyone, removed
everyone & just made it allow all to one account, shared
it, unshared it, allowed max shares, .... nothing seems
to work.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Already had one
HDD fail on me.. Desperately need to create these
briefcases to safeguard data.
