CDROM READING DISC

Since reinstalling my operating system (XP) I have a couple of discs that
were previously installed that my cdrom won't read. One doesn't read at all
and one loads but then says Network driver appears to be not serving this
directory, When I click ok it says Could not read the registry - error 2.
All my other discs are ok. Any suggestions?
