my pc originally had a cd-rom, i just added a dvdrom, and
now it cannot start the cd rom. it is listed
under "other" on my computer with a red question mark.
and under properties it says "this device cannot start
(code 10)", the Dvd drive works fine.

any ideas how to fix?

Have a look and see if you have set the DVD or CD to
master and the other to slave...

This could be causing your problem. If not then have a
look on the net to see if there are any drivers you can
use to get windows to get them to run...
