CDROM - Drive Disabled

      4th Nov 2003
I tried to setup a external cd-rom write drive and it
failed. This resulted in the system not recognizing my
existing Cdrom drive.

It shows in my hardware panel but it doesn't map to a
drive nor is it recognized by the operating system.

Depending on what all you did this may be the repair.
