Cdrom -- corrupted registry

Hello,

I'm running W2k SP4, all updates and hotfixes applied.
Suddenly, cd-rom stopped to function.
If I look at device manager, I see exclamation sign near
the cdrom object. Checking the properties of cdrom object
shows the following error: Your registry might be corrupted
Error code 19

Uninstall/reinstall and even changing the cdrom to other
did not solve the problem.

I will appreciate any help.
