Penny, try Rt clicking MyComputer>select Properties>Hardware>Device
Manager>DVD/CDRom Drives. click on + sign.
rt click on both your drives and uninstall them. Let WinXP on restart
reinstall them. Also, go to Add/Remove Programs in
Control Panel and uninstall your CD Burner Software. Reinstall after first
procedure. Look for WinXP updates at the
Burner Software Manufacturers site. Check here and see if it applies.
