Hi everyone,
My CD-R will not write after Roxio was downloaded onto it, I tried deleting it and do a restart which should put it back to original state but it still comes back with this roxio certificate. any suggestions??

Try doing a system restore if you have it enabled? Also try going to their website many manufacturers have tools to completely remove the program if the uninstall fails to remove everything.
As a last resort I would go in and delete all files pertaining to roxio in the programs directory (assuming you are running no other roxio software).
I would then go into start>run>regedit and remove all folders pertaaining to the burner program located in the software folder located in HKCU and HKLM. Make sure you backup your system before editing the registry.

Hi Karen

I would never delete as program as Kawipoo sugested even as a last resort as
you will end up with more problems. From your original post you said "I
tried deleting it and do a restart which should put it back to original
state" this is incorrect. You need to uninstall the program via the add
remove programs in control panel not just delete it. If you meant you
uninstalled it please say as deleting a program and uninstalling a program
are two different things. If your computer is in a mess because you deleted
the program reinstall it, then reboot then uninstall.

As to your original problem when you installed Roxio's Easy CD Creator (or
was it a different program) what problems were you having when you tried
burning a CD-R. Post back with specific information and someone will be able
to help you. I know this is a hardware group but your original post is about
a CD-R problem.
