Hi

I currently use cdont but can anyone tell me if I upgrade to Frontpage 2003
will I need to use cdo?

Also if I upgraded the server to windows 2003 would cdont still work?

Cheers
Shona

Hi Shona,

CDONTS was deprecated long ago and doesn't ship with 2003. Thus it will only
work if your host has chosen to install it - CDO is much better and I'd
suggest you always use it.

OK thanks I had a feeling that might be the case do we have to install
anything to be able to use CDO?

I tried using the information on this link

http://www.aspfaq.com/show.asp?id=2026

but got an error message

CDO.Message.1 error '80040213'
The transport failed to connect to the server.

/CI/SMR/confirmation.asp, line 52

but is this is because we have not upgraded yet?

Thanks Shona
