Webroot Spy Sweeper found Cdilla, a dangerous system
monitor. MSAS beta found nothing.

But remove it and some programs will not work. If you removed the programs
that no longer use it, MacroVision. Also look where it keeps the licences,
there should be a file name with numbers and a ext. Take that number to
www.macrovision.com and there should be a search to tell you what it belongs
too, if not write them. Thats what I did. Turned out to be a trial of Abbyy
Fine Reader Pro 7 I got off their website that pulls from elements.com .
Also some software pre-installed on my laptop has 2 demo programs, launch
them, it installs cdilla and time bombs them. Of course that is many of the
things I removed. Since I now have TrueImage 8, next time I get on a certain
beta, which means clean installs of the OS, I will use Toshiba install disk
to restore (uses Ghost) and then remove the junk, update everything, install
everything I use, and update it, use Drive Image and I am good to go for
when the next build comes along.
