I use the CD Writing Wizard capabilities frequently and
have no problems with it, until now. Well, TWICE.
Whenever I insert a CD-R or CD-RW into my DVD/CD-RW combo
drive, it will not write, but says that there is no disc
in the drive. The left panel of the Windows XP window
panel used to show "Erase this CD-RW" or something like
that before, but does not appear this time, although it's
a perfectly good CD-RW.
The same dics/s inserted into a similar has no such
problems. My first encounter with this was fixed by using
the recovery disc that came with my notebook. I am not
prepared to use it again this time, and it's really
irritating to lose this functionality every month or so,
although there hasn't been any new apps installed.
