Hi,
I have dvd\cd drive. when I am inserting dvd disk and trying to burn it, the
"cd writing wizard" is opened but it recognize the dvd disk as cd, and the
burning process is failing.
Any solutions?

What is the name brand and model of the CD/DVD drive you have?
(If it was not designed to write to DVDs, it won't do it.)

What third party CD/DVD writing software are you utilizing?
(Windows XP cannot write to DVDs natively.)

Windows XP can burn CDs, but has no ability to burn DVDs. You need
third-party software for that.

The built-in Windows CD-writing software? Just shut it down, and open
your third-party DVD-writing software.

And the third party software is called?

If you utilize "Belarc Advisor" to get details about your system, what is
the name brand/model of your CD/DVD drive?
