HP Pavilion 7955 1.49GHZ P4 w/ 768MB of RAM
HP cd-writer cd16f RW drive
Pioneer dvd-rom dvd-116 drive
funny it seems pavilions have a **** load of problems concerning cd drives
My cd-writer cd16f won't show the content of any disc, burned or retail.
The icon for the drive says "cd-rom" or "cd-r" but will not display the
volume name or cd content. it will show volume size though. I put an audio
cd in the drive and it played in windows media player.
device manager is showing no problems with anything at all. I was using Nero
Burn before this problem started but since removed it. the problem has
stayed.
DVD drive works fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
