It is not uncommon for multiple CD/DVD writing softwares to conflict. The
general rule is to have only ONE CD/DVD writing product on the PC. Nero is
generally good software, and should support many different CD/DVD writers.
However, the specific version of Nero you installed with the DVD writer
might be (a) an older version, (b) a lite version, (c) and OEM version.
Possible solutions include (a) check for updates to that version of Nero,
especally for an update to increase the number of supported drives. (b) Get
the full version of Nero, version 6.xxx, and download/install all updates.
(c) Contact the DVD writer manufacture and ask for their advice, since it
appears to be that adding their bundled software caused the problem. (d) Go
to the Toshiba support wbsite, read their FAQs, search their databases, and
if nothing else help, try sending them an email.
