i have written an application that involves writing files on CDRW. i have
used for this purpose VOB InstantWrite (Version 3.1). it used to work fine
untill i came across Sony CD-ReWriter (Model CRX-230A). problem is like
this..........my application locks the drive while writing files and when
eject button from my application is pressed it releases the drive after
which user can use eject button to pull the tray out. but with this
cd-writer what happens is that the tray doesnt come out untill someone loggs
off windows and then logs back in.
let me write all the steps:-
1) Button on my applciation pressed that unlocked the drive
2) user used eject button to eject the tray but it didnt come out.
3) tray comes out automatically as soon as user loggs off and then back
in windows.
i had tried my application with AOPEN, Toshiba, HP, Sony even and it used to
work fine.
any help would be appreciated.
