Just did a clean install of xp pro and am trying to get
all my hardware devices working properly.
Main problem is with iomega zipcd 650 ATAPI (cd-rw) drive.
Details: xp has recognized drive and assigned it a letter
(E), when I insert a blank cd, the cd write wizard opens
and I can create temp. files to write to cd. Wizard
starts thru function, as well as function lights on drive
E blinking correctly.
The problem: The wizard hangs at five seconds remaining
for 15 minutes. Then an error message that the cd can not
be completed. Drive E will not eject the cd and
the 'explore' window hangs.
I have run windows update since the cdrw install with no
status change. Iomega claims no new drivers.
