I had a hard drive crash a couple of weeks ago, sent computer back to
supplier to fix under warranty, computer came back with Nero Express on it
and a new HDD.
I wnet to copy some files to a cd via XP CD Write, it has disappeared. Every
time I try to copy info to my CD Burner,it comes up with E:\is not accessible
Incorrect function. I have removed Nero and InCd but can not find the CD
Write program.
Any help to regain this function would be greatly appreciated

Under the drives properties/recording tab, is enable cd recording on this
drive checked? Also in admin tools>services be sure that "IMAPI CD-burning
COM Service" is set to automatic.
By the way (just my opinion) Nero is a much better program.

I agree with you completely Conjola. The bundled XP CD-Writing has actually
ruined some of my new discs, especially when writing multisession. On the
other hand I have never had any trouble whatsoever with nero. I know it's
not really relevant, but if you've got the better software on your computer,
why not use it!

Is there any way for System.IO.StreamWriter Write method to write out part of the string to file. such as if the machine is shut down half way through? or does the file not actually exist until the entire write is completed successfully. Daniel Microsoft Dot NET 1 7th Sep 2005 03:02 PM
