Under device manager, it says that this device is working
properly, and yet, it is not. I have been through the
troubleshooting guide about a doezen times with still no
result other than my frustration. The CD-RW Drive (D) on
my Windows XP personal computer will not read audio cds,
cd-roms, or blank cd's for recording. It just started
with this problem about a week ago and after everything
I've tried it still will not work. Before, it working
fine. I recently installed Nortan Anti Virus which took
care of a couple infected files, and I'm not sure if the
settings of my computer were permenantly effected by
these worms. I really just don't know what to do and am
hoping that maybe someone else does. Thanks for your time,

-Keri M.
