My grandmother sent me a picture cd from costco and I've been trying to open
it. It does not automatically run when I put it into my cd rom drive. On the
disk it says to type D:/START HERE if it does not run. I type it, and all
the other drives it could possibly be( C or E or F) and it doesnt work.
Should i be looking in a program, such as picture viewer, or am I just not
seeing something pretty ovbious? Thank you!

D:/START should be typed in the "Open"
field at...Start / Run...is that where you typed
it? (assuming that your CD drive is drive D

When you insert the CD in your CD drive...
what happens? Does it just sit there or
do you hear the drive trying to scan the CD?
If you have two drives....try the other one.

It might be worth a try to go to...My Computer
and left click the CD drive that the disk is in.
If a window opens that shows the contents of
the CD you should be able to figure out what
to do next.

If none of the above works, you may have a
dirty or damaged CD. Might be worth a try
to clean it:
