CD Spins *FAST*, then comp reboots

I put in a CD of mine to burn onto my computer, and when
I start the process the cd drive starts to spin really
fast, you can feel it spinning if you just touch the top
of the computer, and the cd comes out hot right after.

After it spins for a while, the comp reboots itself, and
the Nvidia Boot Agent comes up, which always tells me I
need to enter a boot disk.

Any ideas?
