Installed a new drive which says write speed is 32x. However, Nero 6 says
max is 4x and gives option of 2x.
How do I increase write speed?
Thank you.

Sorry to ask the obvious, but are you possibly using a 4x CDR?

Pleased you asked the "obvious".
The reply is I don't know...the disc is a ReWriteable I have had for some
time. Will try a 48x standard disc.
Thanks

1) Are you confusing DVD write speed and CD write speed? Nobody
makes a 32x DVD writer as far as I know.

2) The write speed is limited by both the drive and the media. What
is the rating on the disks you are using?

Yeah, most CD-RW's are only 4x.
