CD RW reads data CD as blanks

After I upgraded to XP Home from ME, XP sees a good data
CD as a blank. I've read the same CD on other systems
running various operating systems and they all read a
populated CD.

I can play music on the CDRW drive. But when I put a
data CD (ie. Quicken application), XP says it's a blank.

Anybody have a clue if I'm missing something?

thanks

Kinda sounds like a bad driver to me. Have you upgraded anything lately,
software, hardware, anything? Go to the manufacturers web site and see
if there are any updates for it. Also, try http://www.windowsupdate.com
