CD-RW Probs

I recently installed a BusLink 52x24x52 External CDRW Drive to my computer via USB 1.1. After it supposedly installed, I can read CDs, but I can not write to them. My computer shows it only as a CD Drive. Nero Express interprets it as if it was a CDRW Drive, but when burning, just gets stuck at 8 percent.

Please, I need help! Second CD-Burner that I have, its also the second burner that's malfunctioning! Please help!!! Thanks.
