Hi forgive me if I seem like I dont know much about
hardware but...I dont. My pc is about 6 months old and
within the last week I have noticed the CD-RW drive is
not working-it isnt reading any cd-roms or audio cd's I
put in the drive. It wont auto-run them and doesnt seem
to be able to read them(it just says no disc inserted). I
have tried the various help and support options but none
of them seem to work. I dont know if the drivers are lost
or corrupted or what and wouldnt know what to do anyway
if they were. I dont know if this helps but under device
manager my cd-rw drive is listed as HL -DT -ST CD-RW GCE -
8483B. I would really appreciate any solutions as it is
becoming very very frustrating. Thanks.
