My cd-rw is working but all my burning programs cannot
detect my cd-rw drive. And yes, my record tab works in cd-
rw properties. please help me

Check the websites of your burning software(s) to see if
they have an update to their software that supports your
cdrw. Some cdwriters are not supported (or recognized) by
certain software. If your software did at one time
recognize your burner, then uninstall/reinstall your
burning software according to the software makers
instructions (sometimes you have to delete registry
entries to completely remove them).

One more thing, if your burner did once work with your
software, has anything changed in your system since that
time? E.G. have you installed any new hardware or software
or done any XP updates??? If so, something may have messed
up things, try a system restore to an earlier point before
the problem started.
