CD-RW Malfunction

Why does my CD-RW drawer eject for no apparent reason. It does this
sometimes at bootup and at other times right in the middle of a session? I
merely close the door and continue, but it's aggravating.
Is this a hardware or software problem? It also exhibits the same behavior
whether or not there is a CD in the drive.

You're not alone. Selene - Does anybody know what
Autoplay is - has the same problem. Have you thought of
calling in a priest to exorcise the demons?
