My w2000 will not accept my cdr-w as a write device, bit
only as a read only device.
I want to remove it from the registry as i think it may
have misread it when it was installed.

I am using the HP recordnow v3.5 as specified by HP ( i
have an HP laptop that this is in)

When i try and burn a disk i get the following:

"No compatible Recordable or Rewritable devices could be
found on your system."

"I dont know where in the registry to remove it, i have
only
found articals on doing this in xp, and its not the same
for w2000

I would appreciate any help i can get

Thanks

Alan

Remove it in Device Manager.
