I just completed a reformat of my computer, which has a
CDRW drive and a DVD drive. Now, the computer can see the
DVD drive, but not the RW. They are both of the same
manufacturer, Samsung, and the RW is a model SW-232B.
I've tried getting the firmware from the web, but the
drive has to be recognized before the firmware can be
used. Any ideas, or suggestions, are welcome.

Is it correctly identified in the BIOS?
