CD-RW drive doesn't work

I installed XP Pro on my new PC. It has cd-rw drive. It
was working fine for two days. Now it won't read any CD.
Windows Explorer doesn't display CD contents.

There is no error when I click CD drive in Windows
explorer with no CD in the drive. That's quiet strange.
Isn't?

Any help is appreciated.
