CD-RW does not recognize CDs!

Hi,
I have a LG CD-RW and sometimes XP does not recognize the disks and it says
that there is no disk in the drive. After I reboot everything works fine.
I've found that this is a common problem for XP. I downloaded the newest
Aspi drivers from Adaptec but then the recording option of XP refused to
work at all and the Nero info tool says that system aspi instalation is
corrupted. I installed the package many times but the result was the same.
Is there a patch from Microsoft for this bug in XP ?
