I recently changed from a DSL account to Comcast cable.
The unfortunate problem I have incurred is that the D:\
(CD-RW) and E:\(DVD) have vanished from the Windows
Explorer and 'My Computer'. I cannot play ANYTHING on
these drives as the PC does not recognize these drives.
This all started after a Comcast tech. installed their
software onto my system. I tried their support but they
said I had other problems they couldn't help out with.
Sometimes I would be able to get the drives back after
rebooting but now I get nothing. I have tried 'System
Restore' to no avail. I am lost at this point. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
