is there anything in general that would cause cd/rw and dvd drives to not
open anymore, about 6 months ago my burner drive wont open (and still doesnt)
and now today my dvd drive will not open. I have had problems recently with
my windows xp not loading up quickly, it eventually loads up but after 15
mins or so, it seems the secondary master and slave or affected. when it
boots and it trys to detect the primary and secondarys, the secondary master
provides some strange lettering. its something like this e'c zc, with what
sort of looks like an underscore under the c and z. Could anyone please be
of assistance, id prefer not to take my computer to an expert as i really
need everything on it everyday for studies.
