I'm stuck ! I am running windows xp home and I installed
a usb card 2.0 for high speed data transfer. I have a teac
cd rw MOdel # cdwe552 .I loaded the driver and Xp has the
driver for this writer.
on the usb 1.1 port in the back of my inspiron 2650 (
Dell ) the cd rw works just fine. However when I plug the
rw to the usb 2.0 notebook card , the drive only reads
but doesn't write . Please help.

If you are trying to write by dragging and dropping directly to the CD, this
function is not natively suppored in XP. It requires third party software
such as the Direct CD component of Easy CD Creator or the InCD componenet of
Nero. NOTE, these need to be versions compatible with XP.
