CD-Roms exists but keeps saying disk needs format

MS Win2000 SP4
1Gig Mem
2x80 EIDE HDD
1Hitatchi40X CDRom
1 Yamaha CDR2220E CD/RW
AMD 2100+

i Just started my computer and the two cd's are present in
My Computer, but no matter what Media i put in the drives
it says " The disk in DriveF or G is not formatted" thats
all i get.

Any help would ber appreciated

Possibly caused by Norton Anti-virus.
