CD-roms Don't Work

I am having the same problem with mine..however after my
system goes into standby it will show my dvd rom and my
cd rw drive again. Please someone help..

I read your other message because your problem was
similar to mine, and I tried going into Standby Mode. I
forgot to mention that with the networking system we
have, I have drives in "My Computer" that are installed
on another computer. I think what might of happened was
in trying to clean up some of the drives on my computer,
I may have deleted the wrong ones.
