My CD-Rom W/R suddently stopped working. I ran a PC Doctor
test and the indications are that there are SCSI errors
5700H. However, every other indication on the PC testing
matierials indicates that the CD is in working order. It
can not read, play sound, or write. When I put a cd in the
CD-Rom lights up but that is it. When I check the CD drive
there is nothing. It is like the CD no longer sees the
disk. It is my CD or SCSI board? All other components on
the computer works find including thee DVD driver.I had to
istall some programs using the DVD drive and it works with
no problem. Help!
