CD Rom Trouble

      1st Dec 2003
if I take a CD out of my CD ROM the information dosent
clear and it say that the CD I just took out is still in
there (refresh dosent work) How do i fix it

i have a VeloCD 32/10/40
and a toshiba DVD player

This was the fix...

1. Click Start, click Run, type "regedit" (without the
quotation marks) in the Open box, and then press ENTER.

2. Locate and click the following registry key:


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CDRom

3. To disable automatically running CD-ROMs, change the
Autorun value to 0 (zero). To enable automatically running
CD-ROMs, change the Autorun value to 1.

4. Restart your computer.

Please check if the CD-ROM drive can read CDs when you
insert them. And check if the CD-ROM drive label changes
now.
