My computer is not recognizing my cd-rom or cd-rw. when I
go to hardware wizard it shows them both with a little
yellow dot and a ! in the middle. After hiting next It
then tells me your registry might be corrupted. (code

Hello SAL

Go to microsoft an look for "regclean" an give it a try.

Then do you have enough free Space for your registry. (sometimes it
gets awfully big)
Start->System->System->Others(?)->Systemresources(?)->Virtual
Memory(?)

I only have my German-W2K so i don't know the exact english names.

Robert
