cd-rom not running after upgrade Win98 -> WinXP

Hello everybody !
After upgrade from win98 to winXP cd-rom doesn't work. I removed
UpperFilters and LowerFilters in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\
{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} - didn't help !!!
Some ideas ?
