CD-ROM not recognized

Hello,

I upgraded from ME to XP and since then it does not
revognize my CD-ROM, or CD-Burner. Pl. help. Hve tried re-
installing XP driver, no luck.!!!

Sounds like it is an drive controller issue. Is it on the motherboard or a card? Is
it IDE or SCSI? Have you checked the IDE cable? What is the model/make of the CD
drive?
