CD Rom not reading

I am having a problem with my Cd rom not reading dicsc. I have changed drives
and fixed one registry error, but both drives would load a program and then
quit before entering. The startup screen appears for the program, but then it
goes back to the desktop. Just wondering if it's another registry error, of
if anyone has had a similar problem?
