The weirdest thing, none of my CD-rom devices work. I
have one internal via IDE connection and an external one
connected via USB. Both show up in device manager with
exclamation points and neither one of them is usable. I
have tried the following:

1. uninstalling and reinstalling device drivers.
2. Running Windows 2000 repair procedure.
3. Ran Antivirus software and no viruses were found.

System recognizes CD-rom devices prior to getting into
the OS, is there anyway to get either one of these
devices to work without reloading the system. Do not
have a easy way to back up the system.
