I have a problem similar to several others I've seen on
this newsgroup. I have 2 CD-ROM drives (1 is a RW) that
were working fine. Originally the Unplug/Eject message
would come up that these drives had been unplugged in
an unsafe manner, when I'd reboot the drives would come
back. Now they not only don't come back, they don't show
up in the Device Manager, & the Hardware Wizard will not
locate them. I tried (as have many others) reloading
the drivers. Nothing. I do not have Norton software
which seems to have caused problems for some folks. I'm
stumped! What should I do/try next?
